room 08 news reports.

room 08 have been writing some news reports about little red riding hood and use lots of cool verbs, adverbs and adjectives to make an exciting reports.

                                                      Little Red Report

A woodcutter heroically rescued little Red Riding Hood and hometown hearty Grandma yesterday in a town called Clover Forest.

It all began on a glorious day where nobody thought that anything can go wrong. It was then in number 33 Little Red Riding Hood's mother Rose Riding Hood had finished baking pastries to give to her mother grandma Louisa Red Riding Hood. Red Riding Hood offered to take these delicious delights to her. Her Careful mother thought of her as her little angel so she promised her not to talk to strangers or wonder off the path so she would be safe. As Red Riding hood left the house no one could have predicted what would happen after that.

Police believe that once innocent little Red Riding Hood had strolled into the forest the promise was discarded from her mind and soon became side tracked by some lilies and poppies. As angelic little red trotted off the path she was soon stopped in her tracks by a cunning wolf who had tracked her down by the scent of the sweet sweets in the basket. That sly old wolf had chatted                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         to her while trying to become her friend. It was then at that very moment that she told the wolf the address of her Grandma’s house.  Reporters claim that when that tricky wolf had found out the address of her grandma he bid her farewell in pursuit of her grandma’s house. Little did she know what she had done?

Authorities believe that the sneaky Big Bad wolf had gotten to Grandma Louisa’s house before climbing in through the window   and attacking the fragile granny while she was in her rocking chair calmly watching the blank television. It is possible that the smart wolf then locked her in the cupboard and dressed into her clothes and sat peacefully while waiting for her so called dear granddaughter to arrive.  According to what the grandma had heard while she was in the cupboard when Little Red Riding Hood knocked and came in the wolf attacked little red and a Woodcutter nearby named Chris Tan (21) heard her merciful scream he knew that something  was wrong. As Woodcutter Chris reported when he jumped in the door and saw the wolf trying to devour her whole and attacked the wolf. A soldier that was  hiding in a nearby bush had reported that the nasty intimidating wolf was so fast he jumped out the window like a cannon just as the woodcutter had swung his razor sharp axe. “All in a day’s work” reports woodcutter Chris Tan (21) . “I was just trying to help the community by trying to get rid of this wanted foul beast once and for all”

Police are currently searching the premises for the cold-blooded fiend known as the wolf who is at large in Clover Park and he is extremely dangerous so if you see him do not approach him. Also if you find him please contact the police on 111 straight away.

Room 8 went on a trip to the zoo. We went last thursday, on the 21st of feb. Mr Reddrop put us into 4 groups. We had to go on a bus to get to the zoo and all of us were excited to go on a trip. when we got we had to sit outside and have a meeting. It didn't feel like a meeting because everyone were shouting and yelling. This man told us to take our hats of and put it in our bag so we can put it in this big fat boxes .After that he told us to walk into the classroom very quietly. When we walked in there were these animal bean bags, and there were heaps of  skined animals. The man said to have a little explore around the classroom. So we did, there were heaps of real fur in the claassroom. His little freind came in he told her to get her little freind the green lizard, he ask everyone to touch we were so happy but when it came to my turn I didn't  want to touch it because I to afraid that it will bite me.Then we went outside and we saw this big lion scale, it is to weigh the lion to see if it is heavy or light.

Our first 2 weeks

Rm 8 had to try and build a bridge. Our aim was to make a dictionary balance on the top of our bridges. We also had to try and make the dictionary fit under the bridge. Before we started Mr reddrop told us that we could ask for some stuff from his shop. But there was a twist. The twist was that we had to barge for what we wanted. Then we started. Alot of the groups had great ideas.Josh had a really smart idea. What his group did was put some sticks in to the piece of paper. Which made it stronger. When the time was up every had back away from their bridges. At the end only jade and joshes grouphad pass the test. Here are the two groups bridges below.
